The role
We are now recruiting for an HR Business Partner to join our existing People Team. This is a temporary 2 year contract to add to our existing team and support us in the delivery of our People Strategy at an important time of growth and change for Crown Estate Scotland.
The successful candidate for this role will work alongside our existing HRBP and wider People Team to support a range of HR activity including:
Support and advice: Supporting business areas with queries, providing advice on people issues and partnering with managers to support people related initiatives.
Recruitment: Partnering the business in the development of new roles and recruitment to ensure our teams have the capacity to deliver.
People Projects: Supporting the delivery of People Strategy projects in collaboration with the wider People Team. Leading on specific projects/ workstreams to ensure our People Strategy Action Plan is delivered.
About You
The successful candidate will:
- Have experience providing generalist HR support, advice and guidance, ideally this will be in an HR Business Partner role.
- Have a good knowledge of HR employment law, with a practical approach to resolving issues.
- have excellent communication and interpersonal skills with an ability to build strong working relationships
- be Associated CIPD membership or actively working towards this.
- Experience in a unionised public sector organisation is preferable but not essential.
